Overview

The Annual Campaign begins in August and winds down in late fall of each year.  During this intense campaigning, volunteers move about the community bringing awareness and educating citizens about United Way, its initiatives and goals.  During campaign season, agencies are asked to apply for funding support if they feel their mission aligns with the focus areas that United Way has established.

While the bulk of the funding comes from workplace campaigns which give employees opportunities to have donations deducted from payroll, United Way solicits and accepts donations from small businesses, individuals, and groups.
